Consistent users and inconsistent users can be identified within the first week
of treatment.

Education and support either through phone calls or written information may
positively affect CPAP compliance.

Approximately 50% of individuals that decide to discontinue CPAP therapy may
become consistent users if placed on bi-level therapy.

Regular follow-up and education are important factors in long-term compliance.
